It’s true! Owen is 6 months old today!
This past month (new gallery too!) has been full of fun developments like becoming a master bouncer in his Johnny-Jump-Up, the arrival of his first two chompers (bottom front teeth), discovering that he has feet (and then trying to bite them, only to get enraged when his two teeth inflict unintended pain!), making a “pthffffft” spitting sound by sticking his tongue out and blowing, discovering his voice and its dynamic and high decibel range (usually when we’re somewhere relatively quiet like the library, bank or post office), his first real illness in the form of croup which lasted nearly 2 weeks, his first attempt at sleeping through the night (which was last night from 8pm to 5am, up to eat, then down till 8am - pretty good!), and over the past few days he’s finally decided it’s OK to drink from a bottle that Daddy is holding. Whew! What a month! But I’d have to say it’s been the most fun month yet. His unique personality is really starting to evolve. He can’t get enough of watching his brother and the associated antics. Owen has proven to be a little bit more of a mama’s boy than Ayden ever was… though I’m sure he’ll get over it. They always do, right?
So here we go, on to the seventh month and whatever adventures await! It’s gonna be a bumpy ride, so hold on!
