My baby is ONE YEAR OLD! How did this happen??? It feels like only a week ago that we were racing off to St. Vincent’s Hospital (a week before our due date) to meet our little boy for the first time! My how life has changed since then! Ayden has brought so much joy, energy, laughter, and sheer bliss into our lives - I don’t know how we ever coped without him?!?! Patrick and I often ask ourselves what in the world we were waiting for! We had no idea how ready we were to start our family - and we’re grateful every day for our healthy and happy little boy! Not a day goes by that he doesn’t make us laugh out loud. So, thank you, Little Bug, for what has been the best year of our lives so far! We look forward to SO many more wonderful memories as we get the honor of watching you grow up! You are the best thing that has ever happened to us!
Ayden’s birthday party was a lot of fun, with many branches of the family tree in attendance. The weather was great, which allowed for a nice backyard bbq and playtime in the pool with all the cousins. Everyone spoiled Ayden with a mountain of gifts, many with wheels, all much appreciated! There are loads of photos in the birthday gallery!
