Our Funny Boy!

So I’m sure this is one of those times when Mom and Dad think their kidlet is adorable, and no one else on the planet could care to even click the gallery link… but hey, it’s our family website, right?  Now that Ayden is "mobile" (not yet crawling, but doing a lot of scooting backward on his hands and knees), he is getting himself into all kinds of predicaments!  Patrick caught him stuffed under his laundry hamper most recently.  Pretty funny!  And it’s hard to believe that he’ll be NINE MONTHS old at the end of this week!  He has his next doc appointment on the 30th, so I should have a health review by the end of the week.  Check back!

It’s About Time!

So I finally got around to posting some great photos from the past two weeks.  This past weekend we visited the coast, with a stop at each of the grandparent’s homes.  The weather was beautiful, so we managed to get out for a nice trip to the park by Grandpa Mark’s house (Patrick’s dad).  Ayden got to swing for the first time.  It was pretty hysterical because he wasn’t quite sure what he was supposed to do… so he just went limp and hung there looking at us like, "uh, ok… now what?".  But after we set him in motion he enjoyed himself.  He mostly found it funny when the wind gusts took his breath away!  All in all it was a great escape for the night!  Enjoy the photos in both galleries Early March and Mid March!!!

He Cracks Me Up!

Wow!  This little 8-month old bundle of boy makes me laugh like no other!  Every day he seems to make a little funny face, do something hysterical, let a new sound escape him, or some other antic that just makes me laugh out loud.  He is more fun than I ever could have imagined.  The day before yesterday I put him on his mat to have some tummy time in the family room.  While talking to Patrick on the phone, Ayden managed to inchworm his way backwards from the middle of the room to the underside of the armchair.  Yes, his body was entirely under the chair.  If not for his head remaining up to smile at me (very proud was he of the progress he made across the room!) he would have ended up entirely under the chair and maybe out the other side!  I was beside myself with laughter and grabbed my camera so that daddy could see his accomplishment!  Ahh, the funny moments… they truly are priceless.

There are a few more moments to enjoy in the new Early March 2006 gallery. Check them out!
