The Whisler Life

What FUN!!!  I haven’t been to the zoo in… well… literally YEARS!  Ayden and I met up with Heather, Lindsay and Emery this morning at The Oregon Zoo.  It was overcast but dry when we arrived.  And we decided to thoroughly torture the boys with their fuzzy, warm animal suits to wear for the outing - Ayden a yellow ducky, and Emery a blue doggy.  TOO CUTE!  These boys are never going to forgive us when they get older!  Oh well, I’m guessing we can live with the grief we’ll receive!!!  We made our way through the maze-like zoo over the course of a couple of hours… and the drizzle (I mean "liquid sunshine") arrived about half way through.  We didn’t manage to see all of the exhibits… and some of the animals we did try to see were hiding out of view in their dry, warm homes.  Oh well, Heather bought an annual pass, so I’m guessing we’ll get to see them all in the not-too-distant future.  Thanks for taking us!  Ayden and I had a great time!  Enjoy the pics!

P.S.  I found it particularly cute when Heather was trying to tell Lindsay that the animals we were looking at were called "musk ox"… and Lindsay kept insisting that "they look like cows".  Pretty funny!
