Can’t Talk… Out of Time…

After you peruse the ONE HUNDRED THIRTY NINE photos
that I just uploaded of our Christmas holiday festivities, you will
understand why I have no remaining energy to blog at length.
Can’t talk now… so weak… can barely type…

Enjoy!

5.5 Months

December is already half way over… or do we still have half left -
glass half full or half empty… Whatever.  Ayden is now five and
half months into his little life.  He is changing and developing
so quickly that I can hardly keep up.  Every time I turn around he
is doing something new or has finessed something he’s been working on
for awhile.  As the pictures in the Mid December 2005
gallery will show, he’s fully reaching for and grabbing things now -
whether it’s a toy or your lip.  He chatters, or rather hollars,
at us like we know what he’s talking about (we don’t).  He smiles
and laughs easily now - and I can’t get enough of that!  He’s
curious and amazed and enthralled by EVERYTHING.  When I hold him
facing me, he likes to bury his head in my chest and nuzzle around…
SO SWEET!  And to top it all off, I get to spend every minute of
every day with him, and I feel like the luckiest person on the face of
this planet.  I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thanksgiving 2005

Wow!  Thanksgiving has already come and gone… and with it a housefull of family!  At one point we had nearly 20 people crammed into our small house!  It was a blast however to have family fly in for the holiday to meet the babies and spend some time.  It was especially nice to have Ayden’s great grandparents here to visit.  Not too many people can claim to have met their GREAT-grandparents these days… so I think Ayden should count himself lucky!  We took TONS of great pictures over the last two weeks of November… there are over 100, so I hope you’re not in a hurry!

Ayden’s main news is that he had his first "real" food on Thanksgiving day.  Rice cereal mixed with Mommy’s milk.  He really liked it once he got the hang of the purpose of the spoon in his mouth.  No, you’re not supposed to EAT the spoon… you eat what’s ON the spoon.  With that figured out, he kept opening his mouth for more like a little bird!  Too cute!  Ayden also seems to be at the start of the teething experience.  Lots of drool and wants to chew on anything he can get his hands on!

Oh yeah, only 24 days ’til Christmas, AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
